I would provide logs, but there are 2 dvr recordings going so aint nothing there but transcoder spam.
Recording is not the same as playing. Things being recorded do not show up in the Dashboard.
If you are talking about watching LiveTV, that is also not the same as playing. LiveTV sessions do not appear under Playing. That is specifically for media already in a library.
Oh, no I am streaming a regular movie (not dvr or live tv) to my phone, that stream is not showing up, but you can see the bw being used.
the 2 recordings simply filled the log with transcoder spam.
Send me the logs anyways. Let me know what you were watching so I can find it easier in the log.
Ok so finished watching the movie, but plex thinks it only played 1 min 50 seconds.
I think here are the steps that happened;
- started watching movie, got interrupted, paused movie
- hit play again, then rewind/skip back to restart movie
- watch most of the movie
- notice it wasn’t showing up on PMS
- finished movie start to finish with no interruptions, no buffering or other glitches.
- notice home screen continue watching still shows movie @ 1m50sec
so somehow, server and client played an entire 2 hour movie without ever noticing. I don’t know if it was direct play/stream/transcode.
I can’t reproduce. Playback shows up properly for me.
