BUG: User Switching on Plex for Android TV

I would like to report an issue with the Plex app on Android TV related to user switching.

When I sign in with one user (for example, the main profile), then exit the app and log in with a different user (for example, a managed child profile), the home screen still shows content from the previous user. The same happens when switching users directly within the app.

Only after navigating manually through sections (Movies, TV Shows, etc.) does the content refresh and update to the correct profile. This behavior is especially problematic when switching from an adult profile to a child profile, because the child can see content that should not be visible.

Expected result:
The app should refresh the home screen immediately after switching users, so only the correct content is shown.

The app on my shield updates the screen after switching users. Can you provide details on your tv? Also, what pms version are you using, what you listed is the Plex web version.

Mines been doing this for years on my shield. We’ve got used to it

Sorry, I’ve already corrected the PMS version and, just to be sure, I also added that it’s the Android app version where the problem occurs. The issue appears on two different TVs, both Sony and Philips, and of course both are Android.
