BUGS REPORT: Various Artists + higher track count in library + 1 hour playtime then stops

Player Version#: Amazon Alexa, Web Player

  1. All my albums tagged as Various Artists are named “by Jewel”
  2. I have 9989 songs in my library but Plex thinks I have 10089
  3. If I ask Alexa to “play music by ARTIST”, for some artists only, it will only play about 1 hour of material then stop.

I can’t speak to #2 or #3, but when things like #1 happen, it frequently has to do with the files not being organized correctly.

I have my Various Artists folders in folders named Various Artists, but not one folder as a main umbrella containing ALL my Various Artists albums.

But on top of that, the Album Artist tag says “Various Artists”. I mean, Plex should be able to read this tag.
