Bulk Editing From The Search Screen

I would like to know if it is possible to edit multiple files from the search result screen.

When you are in your library you can select multiple and then bulk edit the file’s metadata, but if you perform a search and attempt to select multiple videos the option isn’t there.

Unfortunately, my media is a bit disorganized and I want to be able to search for known commonalities between the files and bulk edit.

I.e. all videos have “xyz” in the title, but different sort titles so are not next to eachother in a large library.

I’ve tried the various metadata editors out there, but they aren’t really that great and I really would like to keep things simple.

Nope.

But you can do it from the Library screen with a “Custom Filter”. The multi-edit options are available in the results.

I don’t think there’s a way to do it across multiple Libraries.
