Caldera Music - Linux Flatpak outdated dependancies

Hello,

I just tried the flatpak version of Caledera Music and noticed that i had to duplicte a large amount of outdated dependencies of packages I already have:

  • [✓] org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default 24.08 (147.8 MB)
  • [✓] org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.default 24.08extra (147.8 MB)
  • [✓] org.freedesktop.Platform.VAAPI.Intel 24.08 (15.6 MB)
  • [✓] org.gnome.Platform.Locale 47 (394.4 MB)
  • [✓] org.gnome.Platform 47 (401.7 MB)

Would it be possible to build Caldera against more recent versions, in particular:

  • Intel VAAPI driver 25.08
  • GNOME Application Platform version 50
  • Mesa 25.08

Also, Gnome doesn’t have a system tray and even with appIndicators extension installed, I am not seeing anything in the system tray.

I’ve given upgrading a try. Linux on the desktop is a … fickle mistress, so no promises, but it should be using a newer set of deps and also showing properly in the tray.
