Caldera setup: Easy-peasy, and one question (equalizer)

Thank @elan for your work on this project.

Built and fired up on my first Raspberry Pi this morning and had Caldera running headless in about 2 hours. Raspberry Pi 5 with 2GB ram and a 32GB SD plus a DAC+. Memory usage appears to be just under 0.5GB of ram total for the system and no problems with cooling without fan. CPU and GPU usage is pretty much non-existent.

One question, how do you control the equalizer on Caldera? The Plexamp app settings don’t appear to change anything for Caldera’s playback.

If you want to change it before you start playback, click the small “home” icon next to the player selection:

Then, click the arrow icon for the Caldera player whose EQ you’d like to adjust:

Finally, click the gear icon to adjust that player’s EQ:

This can also be done during playback. Just find the “home” icon near the bottom of the playback window (again, next to the player selection icon).

I would prefer to be able to actually write my PEQ in the settings file, optionally exposing different settings in the UI (Plexamp)

Yes, I’m finding I have to keep setting the EQ instead of it remembering my previous settings.
