Can 1 Plex User have access to 2 Plex Media Servers?

I’m interested in finding out if it’s possible to access 2 Plex Media Servers from 1 account?

I have 1 Plex Media Server running and access that when I login using my Plex credentials. IF I were to have another Plex Medier Server - how could I access the media on that? Would I have to log out of the first one before I could use the second with the same Plex account?

Or would a solution be to have 2 Plex accounts - one for each Plex Media Server?

Thank You.

I have about 4-5 servers in different states most of the time - you can definitely sign into multiples with your account - just add to your account and it will show up in your server lists

You can have (almost) as many servers as you like in one account.

You can also use servers which are owned by other users shared with this same account.
The list of servers can get long that way. But you can mix&match and pick whichever libraries from which servers you like most and pin them to your sidebar.

Cool

It will probably make more sense when I can see it (in action) - as in WHEN I get my 2nd server up and running.

But what you say is that when the 2nd server access is linked to my account, I can pick and choose which folders from which server to see on my dashboard?

Precisely.

Alright… had to re-claim the old server after claiming the new one but it seems to be working now :).

Wonderful
