I am accessing a plex server via several player apps (ipad, apple-tv, mac computer). I also am enabled on a second (unrelated) server; my question is can the player app be configured to access both servers or do i have to sign out of one server and into the other?
(There were a few topics like this in a search but they are all closed and did provide any usable information other than to reference other posts which no longer exist)
Do you have separate Plex usernames for the servers?
If so, then the owner of Server1 would have to share libraries with Username2 or visa-versa.
yes, I have usernames for both servers; I currently have Plex client on iPad configured for server 1 and Plex client on AppleTV configured for server 2 (and they both work fine). I just wondered if there was a way to connect both servers to one client app.
So whatever Plex servers I have access to will just show up when I log in to a client app? that makes sense!
