Can Elan's "Plex Media Scanner (no tags)" code

...be modified to force updates?
Hello, I'm appealing to a developer here to see if Elan's "Plex Media Scanner (no tags)" scanner can be easily modified. I know he and the team are swamped and this is not a priority for them at the moment.

In an 11-hour scan using "Plex Media Scanner (no tags)" a few weeks back (although sadly, it could not pull in artwork for my FLAC files) the scanner read in all my folders and FLAC files beautifully and, I think, completely. However, I've noticed that this Python code will go through the motions of updating my folders and files - taking about 23 minutes from start to finish - but nothing that I've added since the original 11-hour scan gets added. I've tried several times. I've tried rebooting my Mac Mini. I've run Disk Utility to repair permissions. I've restarted my main computer, a Mac Pro, and repaired its permissions too. (The Mac Pro is connected to my shared drives on the network.) BTW, the Movies and TV Shows update just fine but not my "FLAC Music" files which is what I call my Section under "Music".

Is this something someone can fix without too much heartburn?

Thanks!

P.S. If someone also wants to tackle the FLAC artwork issues I've got: complex names and 4-6 level deep directories, please check out my post under "Feature Requests" from several days ago. I've had lots of views but no responses. Thanks again!
