Plex Media Scanner hangs while scanning a very specific FLAC file

Player Version#: 4.22.3

Hi all, my PMS hangs while scanning a single FLAC file. If I remove this single file and restart everything (ie killing Media Scanner that runs forever at around 80% CPU and restart scanning) the PMS works fine until the end.

The file has been regularly validated with Picard and looks fine to me. Moreover, a very strange and long row of binary chars appears in PMS log (here attached)PMS Logs.zip (16.0 KB)

Additional info…putting another file in the same directory structure works fine.

Thanks to @winstonyin (kudos) I have been able to bypass the problem.

Changed library settings to:

Genres: Embedded tags
Album art: Local files
Scanner: Plex Music Scanner
Agent: Personal Media Artist

Still don’t get why Media Scanners hangs looking on the net for media and titles but that’s the way it is. Closed !
