Can I configure a library so that playback to always start from beginning of video?

I have a library of music videos that I play when exercising. I want to them to always start at the beginning of the video.

What is worse is that usually I play them via an exercise playlist - “workout1”, “workout2”, “treadmill”, “cardio” etc - and it stinks when the song starts in the middle or even at the end when it comes up in the playlist!

Is there a setting for this? I cannot find it.

Alternatively, is there an automated way, for example , using an API call, to iterate across the videos and have Plex “forget” where to resume from? That should make it start from the beginning.

There’s currently no such option available in Plex.
Though, there’s a feature suggestion to introduce an option not to store track progress for videos, same as it’s already available for music libraries.

Like other Plex users, I’ve painstakingly collected, enhanced and improved thousands of video files over time. For me, it’s music videos from the 80s-90s. And I’d like the ability to watch music videos stored in my collection the same way music is played in Plex - namely that the next music video in the queue starts playing at the beginning of the video - not at the last place the music video was viewed a yesterday, last month or a year, 2 years ago. The switch for this behavior already exist…
