Can I get a shell / cmd-line on Rasplex?

I'd like to tweak a few things in the background - for that I need to get to the command prompt. Is there an easy way to break out of the Plex UI without shutting down everything?

Getting a console seems to be not possible with OpenELEC. Just use SSH.
