So I primarily use Roku devices to use Plex. I saw that Roku now supports watching Live TV and limited controls like pause and rewind.
I know Roku does not support scheduling recordings at the moment. Is that a planned feature?
In the meantime, can I schedule a recording on my computer running my media server/tv tuner card and then access the recordings through Roku at all? or do I need to cast it?
That’s correct. Roku Plex app now supports watching Live TV from your Plex DVR. You schedule recordings via supported Plex apps (e.g. Plex Web App, iOS, Plex Media Player, etc.). Once recorded, content can be made accessible to shared users just like normal.
