Hi smart people,
Is it possible to give someone access to just a particular movie using Plex? Or, will they have access to my entire catalog of movies, music, photos, etc., if I make an account for them?
Thanks,

Since you have a Plex Pass you have more control over sharing. You can share using a label. Create a label only for the movie you want to share then only allow your friend access to that label.
Hey MovieFan.Plex,
Yeah, I just saw that I can label movies. That’s great. Is there a way to batch label movies, label a folder, or the content of the folder? For instance, I have a folder named “How-To”, and have several sub-folders in “How-To” which contain several movies. I’d like to limit access to certain folders (or movies) to a sub-folder of “How-To.” Can this be done?
Thanks!
You can mass tag files. While viewing your library, multi-select all the files you want on that screen and then there is an edit button at the top that will allow you to edit all of these at once. Just add in the label you want.
Thanks again. I wasn’t aware that I could multi-select, as every time that I clicked on a movie, it would start playing. Adding the Shift key to this, allowed me to multi-select, and edit the movies.
There’s also the little circle in the top left corner of the poster. Clicking on that also starts multi-select, incase your finger gets tired holding down the shift key.
