can Plex Media Server automatically launch at PC Boot time

When my PC boots, the Plex Media Server icon appears in the Windows 10 Task Tray.
I then CLICK on this and get the RIGHT CLICK menu which inludes " Open Plex"…
Selecting “Open Plex” then allows my Plex Apps on other PC’s on my Network to access PMS.
QUESTION: Can “Open Plex” be executed when my Windows 10 PC boots up?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Bernard

Plex normally runs in a user account. Once logged in, the server should be available to clients - no need to “Open Plex” via system tray icon.

If you wish Plex to be available after boot up, but without logging on, then you can run PMS as a service.
See PMS as a Service thread.

But it does actually boot as a service. That means no login needed. That was a silent update. Isn’t it?

No, it doesn’t.
Microsoft did “improve” Windows in this way:
After a reboot, Windows will silently log-in the last used Windows user account. So if this user then actually puts in his password, the logon is instantaneous.

However, if for some reason the last logged-in user is not the regular windows user, you can expect major confusion. Because Plex is storing its settings related to the user account. If the wrong user is getting logged in, all those settings will be missing.
