Can we get an ETA on rollback to a functional v8.x?

Model of iPads, A series Processors or M series devices.?

Not the OP but I tried it on my iPad 9th generation MK2K3LL/A running 2025.16.0.(1068) and that clip does indeed crash the app while at the same time playing perfectly if I run it through Safari and app.plex.tv.

Ditto if I use an iPhone 14 MPWM3LL/A. Runs fine on Safari app.plex.tv but immediately crashes in the app also running 2025.16.0 (1068).

Ipad pro M2, and Air M1.
IPhone 15

All ios 18.5

TY, yes also works good on app.plex.tv with Firefox on Win11 laptop as well.

It’s just this 2025.x version on iOS that has broken.

So it is happening on A and M processor Devices. I must ask, HEVC only?

Immediate Crash on a iPad Pro M4 11" iOS 18.5, with crash-002 sample Confirmed. Yet plays in browser

2025.17.0 (1082) PMS: v.1.41.7.9823-59f304c16

Please note h264 content not affected, HEVC content I have has not shown this issue with my Device.

Yea. So far only found with HEVC. To be clear a lot of HEVC works.

I’m not 100%. It seems like it skews to 4k/HEVC with Nolan style video with aspect ratio changes, but that’s not a definitive claim. You probably recognize the prior clip… you’ll probably recognize this next one. Much simpler audio, basic ac3.
