Is Plex seriously looking into a replacement for Tidal, or has this been abandoned completely in favor of shared libraries?
I’d really like to know what the game plan is here. Having a streaming service integrated into Plex is super important to me as a way to discover new music, import playlists and have every song available, use Sonic Sage and other AI tools to generate custom playlists, and so forth.
No official comment, but we’d love the same thing you would.

It’s been some time now since Tidal integration went away.
Have you approached other services like Deezer or Soundcloud to fill the gap?
With the increase in sub fees but features being taken away Plex’s value is starting to waine.
I don’t have anything to announce, but know we’re interested in it.
