I really appreciate some of the new UI improvements you guys are doing. Each revision makes the experience better and better. But one area that still needs some work, IMO, is user switching.
I have two users set up, one for myself and one for my wife. It seems like the actions required to switch users are both unnecessarily complicated and requires too many clicks.
First, a suggestion. On the main page, you already have the username displayed at the top of the left column. Clicking on the username brings you to a new page, then you have to click again to Switch User, which brings you to yet a third page, where you are able to choose the user to switch to. I would recommend that a long click on the username (on the main page) should bring you to a list of available users, and you can then select the user you want. Quick, easy, fewer new pages, and fewer clicks.
The other issue I have is that it seems to take quite a long time to switch users, and sometimes the switch doesn’t “take.” I’ll click on one of the users, and it will sometimes pause there for a few seconds, and then when it returns to the home page, the original user is still selected. It just seems like this area needs to be addressed and reworked to be more efficient.
