Can we increase the background tasks CPU usage?

Hi,

My question is rather strange, I wish to INCREASE the CPU usage on my server.
I have 24 cores at my disposal and I just moved like 6Tb of shows to a new plex server.
The only “problem” I’m having is that out of the 24 cores plex uses only ONE to generate previews (and another one for intro detection), even tho its a “simple” FFMPEG process as far as I see:

Is there any way to let plex hammer my server as much as it can, or shall I just wait a few days (as my xeon doesnt have quicksync) for it to finish?
