One has 14 episodes, and the other has 78 episodes, and it’s throwing off episode matching in Plex. The longer one is a remake of the original, so it’s not just a matter of multi-episode naming.
The only one that can be matched in Plex is TVDB 452257 (the original) because I assume the remake (TVDB 464094) was merged at some point.
I assume that the 14-episode version is simply a recut version of the original, without fundamental changes to the story or the cast.
In which case I think it would be better not to treat the latter as a new, separate show but rather create a separate Episode Ordering in the original show.
Once this has been created, Plex can use it.
[edit: ahh, I see that it is the other way around. The 80-episode version was created out of the 14-episode version with added material. Still, I think it should be handled as an additional episode ordering – unless TVDB and/or TMDB see it differently.]
