Can you browse by letter in OpenPHT?

I just started using OpenPHT, and I’m using the Aeon Nox skin. It looks beautiful, but I have a pretty large movie library, I wanted to know if there was a way to enable a “Browse by letter” option. Where it’s still nice and pretty for the most part, but you can click on a letter bellow/above the main screen and have the library scroll to that specific letter. I know I could just use the search option instead, but I also like being able to browse through my collection and it look all pretty

Not sure if it helps or not, but if you have a keyboard and you hit shift-letter (such as shift-T), it’ll scroll immediately to the first item that starts with that letter.

It certainly helps for now. Ultimately I’d like it to be something I could navigate using my universal remote, but for now that works

A browse by letter function makes sense only when you sort your library by title, while a scroll bar works with all kind of sorting. The OpenPHT skin and the Plex - Black Edition skin have a scroll bar. For the Aeon Nox skin I miss this kind of browsing too. :’(
But this should be better discussed in the Aeon Nox subforum.

I definitely recommend checking out the Plex Black Edition skin … Then when you’re in a media section (e.g., movies) use your remote to click to the right to access the scroll bar, then click up or down to scroll up or down, zooming quickly through your library. The letters of the section of the alphabet you’re in (if sorted by alpha) briefly appear as you’re scrolling. So, for instance, if you were looking for “T,” you just stop scrolling as soon as you see the T flash by. I’ve got thousands of movies on file – and found this to be a great time-saver for browsing my library, once I found out about it.
