Can you use plex in a camper?

I have a question, is it possible to use Plex in a camper with no internet connection. If so, how would you set this up?

I believe it to be possible, but it would be a bit complicated to achieve. You might be better off just loading up some of the movies from your server and placing them on an external USB stick or drive. If you have a PC, Smart TV, Roku, or some other form of streaming device that has a USB port, that will be in the camper with you, you should be able to plug that USB in and play directly off of it.

If you wanted to actually use Plex while on the road, you would need to take whatever you are using as your sever with you, since you would have no other way to access it. You would need to configure your Plex server to allow unauthenticated local access prior to leaving your home.
You would need to set up a small local network using the same IP scheme that you use on your home network so that you would still be able to access the server using the unauthenticated local access settings that you set up earlier.

I can’t give you specific details, but that should give you a minimal idea of what would be required to accomplish that.

This. in servers network settings add what the IP will be to networks allowed without auth setting. You may also need to disable secure connections. and in the app set it to allow insecure connections on local network

Agreeing with @FeMaster. It would probably be better to use Kodi in a case like this and fetch all metadata before you hit the road.

OK Thanks all for the information
