I have been unable to locate my old votes for obsolete, implemented, abandoned or deleted issues and all six (or whatever the ridiculously low max number is) of my votes are used forever more. With a draconian vote limit as imposed by this site, there must be an easy and obvious way to list the issues where one’s votes are registered so that we may sanely decide which are unimportant to us now, after we’ve seen a new issue.
If this feature exists, I have been unable to locate it. Please explain, or better yet, make it plainly visible, perhaps as an option when we try to “over-vote”?
@BigWheel thank you for the link! However, even with the link I cannot figure out how you discovered it from the forum page. … Oops, I just tracked it down. It is definitely well hidden (from me.) I was expecting a filter option along the lines of Newest, Most Votes, My Posts, My Votes, etc. directly on the main forum page. Should I submit a suggestion for that?
How long does it take a removed vote to become available for use again? It has been at least ten minutes, so I know there’s a delay setting because I cannot believe that the system hosting this site is that slow. A long delay is a nice trick … this way we may forget to return to vote after removing a vote for some other unresolved issue that important to us.
It would really be better if we had no more than X votes in a Y day period. It seems kind of silly that users would only be interested in five things at any given time!
If every one votes on everything then nothing gets any more importance than another. the 5 votes is what you want most. even if you.don’t vote, just commenting on a suggestion topic lets see us how many folks might be just “interested” but we have limited votes so we can see what folks “really” want if they had to make a choice.

Releasing votes should be immediate. which one did you unvote for?
The is the suggestion I removed my vote from earlier. Not sure the exact delay period, but when I saw your note, I tried again and was allowed to vote for the Audio Book Library suggestion.
(FWIW, I also tried to delete my suggestion about the audiobook library, but I’m not allowed to do that. It told me that I needed to ask a moderator to do it for me. Any change you could facilitate that? Thanks either way!)
