Cannot upgrade to 1.18.5.2309

Server Version#: 1.18.4.2171
Player Version#: NA

Error Message: PlexMediaServer install: Error: Unknown username ‘plex’ used in /etc/systemd/system/plexmediaserver.service.d/override.conf.
PlexMediaServer install: Error: Unknown group name ‘plex’ used in /etc/systemd/system/plexmediaserver.service.d/override.conf.

But that user (LDAP user) does exist on the system:
id plex
uid=3000021(DOMAIN\plex) gid=100(users) groups=100(users),44(video),3000021(DOMAIN\plex),3000022(DOMAIN\service accounts),3000009(BUILTIN\users)

Contents of override.conf:

[Service]
Environment=“PLEX_MEDIA_SERVER_APPLICATION_SUPPORT_DIR=/opt/config/plex/Library/Application Support”
User=“plex”
Group=“plex”

I have tried DOMAIN\plex as well as user and group.

This is a known issue. IPA services such as LDAP were an oversight for the PlexUser.
It’s used for PlexGroup. Yes, total egg on face.
We caught it immediately when it went to PlexPass beta (which is what the beta is best for) but were unable to push the correction in time for code freeze of 2309.

2309 is now public but 1.18.6 is finishing QA now and it does contain the corrections.

If you’ll please follow along here?
