Can't access plex server from any apps or web browser (maybe IP related)

Server Version#:1.30.0
Player Version#:Web/multiple)

Last night there was no issues with watching my media from my desktop and firestick. Today, nothing can see the plex app on the QNAP server. When I click open on the Plex app inside the QNAP server the new tab spins and doesn’t show a url. Nothing has changed in my setup from last night except a couple threatlist I use to block IP address on my firewalls. Looking at those logs and checking domains against IPs, I don’t see anything plex.tv related.

Is there a list of IPs I can find somewhere that I can whitelist or is there something else going on?

Plex is RFC-1918 based for the home LAN.
It does require WAN connectivity for auth & codecs

It also is fundamentally starts out as single segment (subnet).

Yes and since my 1918, nor it’s connectivity changed, it’s not my subnet.

“It does require WAN connectivity for auth & codecs”

What are those IPs or are they FQDNs that change their IPs “randomly”

I came across this: traefik-geo.plex.bz

Which I suspect is one of the FQDNs, but then why Belize?

can you show me where you found this?

In a log file or console ?

No, I can not.

Is that one of the FQDNs (and corresponding IPs) I should be adding to a white list?

Ah, Thank you for sharing why the query.

Please do add it.

While you’re adding, *.plex.bz will get everything in one record.
I recommend this because, from time to time, different hosts become active based on traffic loads, scheduled maintenance. or failures.
