Cant delete an episode in a playlist since last update on nvidia shield

Before I would add a TV serie as a playlist and could delete them (from the playlist, not the library) after I watched it keeping my position. Now I dont have that option on the Shield. I can delete them on my iPad but thats a PITA.
Why do you remove a feature with an upgrade ??? I dont understand. Interface was fine…
