I was trying to find my Plex Media Server Auth Token for use in Sickrage. I followed the directions from this article: https://support.plex.tv/articles/204059436-finding-an-authentication-token-x-plex-token/, but when I open up a library item, I see no plex token anywhere. I am doing it from the plex.tv interface as well (not on my local plex server which is installed on my QNAP NAS). Has it changed now? Why am I not able to find it?
Take a look up into the address bar of your web browser.

This is all I get in my address bar, but nothing referring to token (I did look there initially); nothing in the format as the how-to article mentioned.

because you are trying to find it on the hosted app (app.plex.tv), you wont find it there. you have to do it via the local Plex Web App (your sever). The example in the support page shows the local ip address, thats what you need to do.

It doesn’t matter which web app is used.
The token is there.
Usually, the window is too narrow, so you need to put the text cursor into the address bar and then press the <cursor right> key until you reach the end of that URL.
(or simply use the End key)
Isn’t the Token in the Registry??
Thanks all. I don’t know if it just took time to rebuild the library (I had to re-do some parts on my NAS after it went down, but I see the token now in the address bar. I appreciate everyone’s help! Thank you!!!
Ottokerner you are correct, I see the token both locally and on the web app as well. I did read it was possible to obtain from the settings.json file from another forum post, but did not feel comfortable making changes or touching the system file on the QNAP. Thanks again
