hello I continue to get an error with my plex token can you please assist I followed the change password from the article but still receive an error

Please provide lots more info about your problem, like:

  • What error?
  • What Client?
  • What server?

Im trying to connect plex meta manager and I continue to get a error when I use the token that is provided

Okay, made this into a public thread instead of a private message, since forums is all about sharing

Could you please upload a Screen Capture showing your error?
And if you also could answer the questions I asked before, it would also help

getting Plex Error: Plex token is invalid Ive followed the article to reset password to get plex token in which Ive copied and paste into plex meta manage

  • Server: Synology
  • Error: Invalid token

Where do you see above error message?

I dont believe that it is safe to share a screenshot of my plex token along with my server details is it a support team for plex pass members

Where do you see that error?

no its nothing that Im not tell you Im getting this error after I try to connect plex meta manager which request for plex token I visit plex website and hit f12 to find the plex token

The Plex Meta Manager instructions refer to this Plex support document for obtaining a Plex token.

Have you done so, or are you following some other process?

F12 should not be necessary. Are you following other instructions that recommend using F12 (I assume to open browser developer/debugging tools?)

Have you confirmed that the token was copied correctly?

So you are indeed using a 3rd. Party tool, and is seen the error in that :wink:

Im using plex to get my token which does not appear in URL Ive followed the article provide and still unable to get the correct plex token so that I can use with the 3rd party tool which will be plex meta manager

  2. Browse to a library item and view the XML for it
