I have paid for Plex and now I am not sure why. I might even need to know where to get a refund.
I have added my library to get movies and IPTV and they way I watch on videos after adding the library my movies would start showing up.

Also, I am using a Mac Book Pro OSX

I understand that I have to load them to plex and it is my server. I went to a hub and added it but still nothing. Maybe I need better resources?

What do you mean you “went to a hub”? What “resources”? (Explain in detail.)

You should be loading YOUR media on local storage, or in the case of Plex Cloud, a cloud storage provider that works with Plex Cloud.
Where did you put YOUR media that YOU ripped from YOUR DVD’s?

suggestion 2: please be more precise and describe what you mean with “your server couldn’t be found”, what you did when “resetting everything” and how you try to upload things when “it won’t allow you to upload your media” (should go into an own thread to avoid confusing jdbdenby’s issue and yours.
