A user added me as a homer user to their server (instead of sharing library) and I was trying to get his server and home user entries off my account. There is no red x to remove under his entries.
The fixes I’ve seen in the forum involve editing the user under my ‘Friends’ list but he’s no longer listed there. Just his Home User entries.
How do I remove these in this scenario?
you are in his home he isn’t in yours. You need to click the x on your row to leave his home.
You’re saying click the red x on MY user entry under Home Users? This won’t effect my own server?
yes you are in his Plex home. if you hover on the x for a second or two you will see the tool tip that says leave home.
Got it. I was under the impression I was always listed under Home Users due to my own local server. Thank you.
Edit: I see that I was always listed. Once I left though, it went back to just me as admin.
You can only be in one Plex Home. If you join someone else’s, you automatically leave your current one.
When you leave your friend’s home, you will automatically regain control of your own.
