i mean of the TV library. change to English or whatever lang it should be. Even if already on it just open the menu and select it again. Then in the Advanced tab change the Agent to Plex TV Series. (Do not change scanner it will change on it’s own) then save.
Tried doing this as well seeing as mine is set on none, and when I selected it there were no other options besides none. Still cant switch my scanner from Plex series scanner to Plex TV series (really what I want is to be able to use TVBD which can’t be done unless it’s set on Plex TV series.) Also, didn’t use to have to merge when it was on Plex TV series, now I do every time. I can go into each show and specifically set it to TVBD though. Did that for a few of them and the meta data came back. I just don’t want to have to do this for each show.

I just ran into this same issue and was able to get around it by first keeping my scanner as Plex Series Scanner but changing the agent to TheTVDB, which then gave me a list of languages in the General tab. After I saved, I was immediately given the option under Manage Library to update to the Plex TV Series scanner.
