I just installed Ubuntu 22.04 and plex server on it following this guide :
It is working but when i want to scan libraries it just doesn’t find anything : The default location when adding is this but I can’t paste anything on these directories
So i tried to add movies on my desktop and go look for it but i don’t know why it just don’t show subdirectories like it would in the explorer
Am i missing something?
Sounds like you might have a permission issue…
You just took away your ownership of your home folder and transferred it to a system user (plex)
It’s good practice to place your media into a folder / mount that’s not interfering with your home folder
