Just grabbed the 2.0 (12011) release from Test Flight. Playing an mkv and right off the bat the remote and remote app behavior is quite different. I can no longer scrub through the timeline at all.
Was this intended behavior? Wanted to make sure that it’s indeed a bug. Thanks!

Just downloaded 12011 on my Apple TV 4th gen (1080p), the first test was on my ATV4k.
Confirmed that I can turn off the Enhanced Player on both ATVs and scrubbing works again. I don’t get the dimmed screen like on the other post on either however. Screen stays active.
Back to regular player, till the next build.
Thanks, you do have to disable it for scrubbing to work.

Such a simple error, should have been noticed before it went out.
Same here, with beta versions stuff can break so will rollback using testflight for now.
Thanks for the reports, we’ll be pushing a new beta with a fix shortly.
For now you can either turn off the Enhanced Player, or roll back to an earlier version.
