I see the album / song I’m searching for in my library, I can even play it, but I can’t search for it?
I’ve also tried optimizing the database a number of times, it doesn’t seem to help.
Just wondering… do you experience the same issue with Plexamp (given you tagged the post as related to Plexamp but the screenshots are from the web app).
I tested this on my system and can find tracks in both, Plex Web and Plexamp.
Are you using the bundled or hosted version of the web app (server IP/name or https://app.plex.tv/desktop)?
I’m using the hosted web app at app.plex.tv
The search doesn’t work in either app. (Search does not work in self hosted UI, hosted web UI, or Plexamp.)
Do you see results if you remove the word “the” from your search terms?
If not, I think it is time for a database repair.
I don’t see any results for any query. Removing “the” didn’t net me any results either.
I tried running the database repair (shutting PMS, running the repair, successful repair, launching PMS) and still no search results for tracks
