In the libraries on my Plex server there are no less than 19 versions of the track “What the world needs now” (… is love sweet love, that’s the only thing that there’s just to little of …).
Searching for “What the world needs now” on PlexAmp yields just three tracks (search on all libraries is enabled). Please note that there is no “>” indicating that the list of tracks is longer. Three tracks is all there is shown, so 16 tracks are missing:
PlexWeb is version 1.41.3.9314 running on an Asustor NAS.
PlexAmp headless is version v4.11.5 running on a RPi.
PlexAmp clients on Windows 10, iPad & iPhone all bring up the very same too short list of results.
Any idea what might cause that difference - which is a bit of a nuissance when sitting on the couch and using PlexAmp on my iPad to browse through my music libraries.
If I can be of any assistance by providing log files or whatever might help analysing the cause for this difference in the search results please tell me how!
Elan - thank you very much for your fast reply, but … I already optimized the server database before opening this thread. So this does not keep PlexAmp from omitting some search results.
Today I also tried and ran ChuckPA / PlexDBRepair’s “check, repair/optimize and reindex” on the Plex server’s database with no improvement.
Funny that using “world needs” as the query in PlexAmp to find versions of the song “What The World Needs Now” brings up a complete list of tracks while using “world needs now” or “needs now” brings up only two out of the 19 tracks …
