Can't see watch together option on my more menu

Am I doing something wrong? I can’t see the watch together option on my iPad or appletv. Do you need a specific version of PMS?

PMS version shouldn’t matter. Not sure if your question implies you have an antique PMS installed on some no longer supported hardware that you can no longer update… in which case it might be so old you might run into issues (not necessarily related to #watch-together.

  1. Check you have the latest versions of Plex for iOS / Apple TV installed. Watch-Together requires your devices to be on version 7.0 or newer.
  2. If the app was online since the feature was introduced… you might need to restart it (force-quit and re-open on the phone / Apple TV)

No, I had enabled beta features and couldn’t see it. I am on plex 6 on my phone so I can only assume the TVOS devices are equally not updated. Thanks!

yep, my issue was that I assumed my apps were autoupdating. Guess not.

I don’t want this Watch Together feature on my Plex. How do I get rid of the button that says this on my videos?

There’s no way to remove or disable this feature. The positive spin is you’re not required to use it… and it’s not really getting in the way as it’s stowed away in the movie context menu anyway.

An option could still be created in the settings to disable it, all features should have an on or off option. I like to delete videos directly from the Plex app on my Roku after watching them, before the “Delete” button was right at the top and now the “Watch Together” button has replaced it in that position so I keep clicking it by accident, it’s annoying.

Well, there is an option on Plex to disable the feature to delete media from the app, and when that is disabled the button disappears, so explain to me why can’t the same exact thing be done for the Watch Together feature too?

Going back to what you said “you’re not required to use it… and it’s not really getting in the way as it’s stowed away in the movie context menu anyway.” Well this certainly applies to the Delete button as well yet there IS still a way to make that button go away. So to remain consistent the same exact thing needs to be done for Watch Together as well.

Another option could have been making your own topic so you’re not spamming me with replies unrelated to the issue I had resolved.

I was replying to the moderator not you. And what I am talking about is the “Watch Together” option, which is the subject of the topic you created, so that makes my request and complaint completely relevant to post here. Sorry if that offends you.
