Can't stream on local network at anything > 8Mbps

Server Version#: Latest on QNAP
Player Version#: Web Version

CPU: i7-7700K + 32GB

This has been going on for as long as I can remember, if the original quality is higher than like 8mbps the video will buffer, stutter and stop a lot, plus it would take an inordinate amount of time to load.

My local network is Gigabit Ethernet and my QNAP is connected directly into the same switch my computer is.

I have seen others reporting the same problem and none of the suggested solutions have worked.

Does anyone have any idea?

Need DEBUG (not VERBOSE) logs ZIP please which capture this happening.
I can look and see what PMS is doing.
Everyone’s situation is a little bit different.

Sure thanks Chuck - i’ll try and collate these this week and send them over!

Hi, I have the same problem. I can’t stream above 4mb 720p on local network using Plex app on fire stick 4K without buffering . The server is wired to 1gb network and the fire stick is connected to an ap with 866mb link.
However if I play the same file on the fire stick using VLC it plays without problem and at full quality.

Any advice greatly received.
Thanks
