When clicking on a cast member in the description, Plex should search all libraries instead of just the one that is currently showing the description.

There’s already an existing feature suggestion thread discussing this option. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting/dispersing votes.
Currently, if you view an actor in a Movie library, Plex will only show results from that library. Likewise for TV Show libraries.
It would be nice if when viewing an actor, results from all available libraries (libraries visible to user) would be used, grouping by library. This way you could see all TV Shows AND Movies for a given actor in one location.
I’ll therefore close this thread as a duplicate.
