I’d like to have some kind of interface element on the Plex app that allows me to cast the audio from a show that I’m watching to my Sonos system.
Here’s my use case: I’m watching Meet The Press on Sunday morning. Half way through, it’s time to do the dishes, away from the TV. I don’t have a TV in the kitchen, but I do have a sonos speaker there, and I dont need the video to keep track of what is going on. I’d like some kind of user interface element on the playback controls to tell pms to cast the audio from the show to my sonos system.
I think the use case you describe is already being discussed in this existing feature suggestion. If so, I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes (and closing this thread in favor of the existing one).
