Just set up casting to Sonos, great feature.
But I can only see my Sonos devices under my user ID, admin.
If I switch to another home user, on the same device, I do not see any Sonos device.
Other devices such as Google Home are there and work fine.
I’ve looked through setting but cannot see anything obvious.
Any idea what could be wrong?

A Plex account has to be linked to a Sonos account in order for the casting to work. So on the same device if you switch to another Plex user they should have the same option to link that you did when you set up casting for yourself. You can link multiple Plex users to the same Sonos account.
If it’s a managed home user and not a regular Plex account we’re looking into making it work.

Yes, they are managed home users. Good to know I was not missing something and will wait on you making it work.
I’m too experiencing this problem (feature) with managed users. I’m the admin and have a lifetime plex pass, one of the main reasons to buy the pass was for sonos integration: so its sad to now find that managed users don’t have the ability to cast too . Do you have any update on where implementing this for managed users sits in your roadmap? Or is there a workaround for my family members? Cheers and keep up the excellent work
Same here… My son, obviously a family member , would love to stream to sonos with his account. Cause his Dad, me, won’t give him access to all media, admin account.
Will there be an expected date for an update?
