I believe you can pull the URL to specific thread numbers by clicking the āTimeā that you see in the right hand side of the post header.
Iāve never tried it, but I think that works.
Yep, exactly what I did to get the URL. However, when updating and testing the links after I updated the op post only about half worked the first time. I had to redo the ones not working. WEIRD.
Iām still trying to get used to the new forums software and miss some things like post numbers.
Welcome back! Totally with you on the enjoying summer front. Just had a nice family reunion with my fiance, been out to Lake Michigan a few times, Iāve got a garden Iāve been working in, and just generally enjoying the nice weather.

Yeah, hitting āQuoteā often has odd results tooā¦ sometimes it brings all text into the quoted box, and sometimes it brings nothing.
There are a few other issues, too. My sig took a while to get straightened out. Kept linking me to the main page. And itās not nearly as easy to put someoneās handle in a post. Canāt just copy the link on the name any more.
Carlo, thatās a sweet looking ride. Sadly, I canāt ride diamond frame bikes any more. Too much damage to the hip. Even if itās electric, I would be putting too much strain on it. On the other hand, a recumbent trike like the TerraTrike Rover is a DREAM! Nexus-8 on the back, Schlumpf HSD on front and in the middle a Bafang BBS02 750W 48V. 20AH LiPo battery and I have yet to run it below a half charge on a rideā¦ It just keeps motoring alongā¦ Whole kit is a tad on the heavy side. About 60#-65# now, but, hell, the motor takes up a lot of the weight.
This is brilliant! and love the converter, kicking Handbrakes ass, at least when it comes to Plex.
Since Iām running a NAS thaāt doesnāt handle transcoding and a while back something changed so all my movies now wont play because of that.
My question is then, is it possible to convert the movies on the server without having to transfer them back and forth to my computer? takes a while to transfer a 1000 movies.

Yes itās a bit better than just using HB because it will remux if it can instead of transcoding and will analyze the audio tracks and subtitle tracks keep the languages you want and remove the others. Will also create if needed the AAC audio track that can be used by most devices for direct playback.
It is possible to run this in āfileā mode instead of ādirectoryā mode. I added a script that could look at the Plex database and work on individual files according to attributes in the database. You could check that out and use it as a base to see how it works or customize it for your own use.
However, with that said, anyway you look at it the media will need to be read/written from a PC to the NAS. You will probably find out itās more reliable to move the media to the local computer for processing instead of reading/writing across the LAN. Nothing like getting a LAN hickup in processing and having to start over.
You can probably find/create a simple batch file to copy over X files at a time. Process them and then hit the next X files.
What formats are your current movies in? MP4, MKV, AVI etc??? Give us an idea and we can help you figure out an elegant way to handle/process them.

At the moment Iām transfering the files to my laptop, but takes a while at 4-6 MB/s.
my movie librry is all MP4, goes fast to remux them.
I will check out that script too.

Try again. This time turn off WIFI. It should be 10 to 15 times faster on Gig then WIFI.
If you still have a problem open a command prompt and type
router /config all and post or PM those settings
also run
route print and send that also.
The combination of those two commands give the local IPs in use for WIFI and for GB LAN and the route command shows the routes and gateway to get there.
Might just need a little tweak for much faster access.

Asustor has done it again.
They did an update to Python, which resulted in breaking the App Central version of SickBeard. One of the users on their forums redid the original package with a higher version number, which then broke the conversion scripts.

How do you get the NFL logo to show up for your matches ? i cant get anything like that to show.

Are you still using this setup? If you have time could you quickly verify the settings that I am using match what you did.
- Disable automatic file re-balancing plugin in Stablebit DrivePool
- Create new Amazon Cloud Drive using Stablebit CloudDrive
- Add new Amazon Cloud Drive to the drive pool
- In the Stablebit DrivePool pool Pool Options > Balancingā¦ settings dialog, go to the Balancers tab and set the Drive Usage Limit plugin to allow Duplicated files on only the Amazon CloudDrive and to allow Unduplicated on all of the local disks
- Enable file protection/duplication if its not enabled
- Wait for the files to be duplicated to your Amazon CloudDrive
What kind of speeds are you seeing? I currently use CrashPlan but it is incredibly slow to upload files.

Mitch, as of lately Iāve been having a terrible time with StableBitās Drive Cloud. They keep making changes that cause the client to NOT be able to connect to the existing cloud account. You have to DESTROY the drive and recreate it. Iāve gotten to about 20TB on 3 different occasions and it craps out. So itās not ready for prime time yet.
CloudDrive also got thrown back to dev status by Amazon which reduces transfer speeds tremendously.
CloudDrive was cool in that it could encrypt your data into blocks so it was only usuable by the you and the computer that uploaded it. However you canāt easily get to the data with any other program.
NetDrive is another program that Iāve been using that can mount different cloud drives to the computer. It doesnāt do encryption BUT it allows you to still access your data directly via ACD or other programs. You can also install it on different computers and access the same data.

As you can see they are experiencing similar issues with Amazon and have been throttled also.
So that leaves us with www.expandrive.com which is still working just fine as is FAST. You can read/write to the same storage area as you did with NetDrive or the default ACD client. It can also mount a drive letter just as CloudDrive or NetDrive BUT it too doesnāt use encryption.
So at present Iām not using DrivePool with any cloud integration. Iām using Expandrive to map a drive letter to Amazon Drive Cloud and just run a script that copies my data. Easy Peezy and just works.

If youāre using the Extended Personal Media Agent plugin then you can also put the files in the directories using the directions here: https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/200220717-Local-Media-Assets-TV-Shows

Thanks for the info on CloudDrive. I tried it for about a week at the beginning of October but found it currently unusable for the following reasons:
- Throttled bandwidth - the current throttling showed that I had an estimated backup time for my data (which is only 3 TB) was > 200 days
- No max limit on the local cache - This meant that the cache would blow past the cache size limit and start filling the drive which also didnāt work for me as I did not have a dedicated drive for the local cache drive.
I just noticed that SyncbackPro supports Amazon Cloud Drive with encryption. I have used SyncbackSE in the past and was happy with it. Iām going to give the Pro trial version a try to see if itās gets better upload results. The additional pluses for SyncbackPro is that it supports encryption and versioning (if required). I will report back here with my results.
