Same issue here on one of my two servers. I tried shutting it down overnight. Issue persists..

[mod edit: your servers’ certificates are perfectly valid and healthy. Whatever your issue is, it has nothing to do with certificates.]

@robplatt it is done for your #3 server which i could tell had issue

@ttopkcaj @BadFurDay Your’s look fine. Are you getting the CERT error in your server logs like in the post above this one.

done @raphaelgimnecki but it seem to be taking a while to generate a new one so you may have to restart your server.

Your cert looks fine @hammer94. Do you have the same error ( scroll a few posts up) in your server logs?

@Bigwheel Thank you for checking, my problem has similar symptoms - the Plex player in AppleTV stops from time to time, sometimes not playing at all. It seems to affect 4K HDR10 (HEVC Main 10).

hey @hammer94 the issue folks are having causes them not to be able to connect to their server so they can’t even attempt to start playback. Playback issues would be something else. please make another topic in players category and tag it with Apple tv.

Same issue here, certificate expired and since I only allow secure connections, cannot connect to web interface anymore.

My plex.direct certificate expired on 2026‑05‑16 and the server can’t renew. It’s stuck looping on Failed to upload CSR: 429 for several days (PMS 1.43.2, Windows). I’ve stopped the server, removed the cached cert, and let it cool down, but it’s still rate‑limited. Could a moderator please reset my server’s certificate rate‑limit? Thank you in advance!
