Is there a purpose for plex anymore? with ISP creating CGNAT systems and IPV6 doesn’t work as plex blocks that solution as well. Why do i pay for remote access again? if i have to pay for a VPS service and my own domain to get functionality back i might as well drop plex move to Emby or Jelly Fin and pay for a domain rather then plex monthly fees’ for a service you cant use in a larger and larger base here in north america. so again i ask is there a purpose for plex in 2026?
Plex does not block ipv6.
Have you successfully run an ipv6 test to the Internet from the server?
IPv6 is now a first-class citizen in Plex Media Server and the new experience clients. However, it is currently only configurable if you have a Plex Pass.
