I’d like to request to change how Plex displays the movie collections so it shows a movie folder inside movie folder collection and shows the each folder separately inside the main collection folder instead of the all the movies in the main collection folder…

Example:
Super Hero (collection folder) inside → Captain America (folder), Hulk (folder), The Avengers (folder) etc. when your file structure is setup this way on the server, Plex only displays all the movies inside the 1st collection folder (Super Hero) and doesn’t show each folder inside. Allowing this would create a much more organized and structured movie display in Plex.

So a… Collection of Collections? Each entry in the collection is - itself - a collection?

Hmmm, seems doable. I don’t think I’d use it, but I don’t see why it can’t be done by Plex.

For now, if I wanted something like this, I’d just make a handful of collections, all prefixed by “Super Hero - xxxxxx”. So Super Hero - Captain America, Super Hero - Hulk, etc. This keeps them next to eachother in the collection view, while still keeping each movie franchise in a separate collection container.

Thanks, I hope this feature request will happen. It would be extremely helpful in organizing Plex better.
