the language settings are set to dutch and not every film or series has a dutch description. some have it in dutch but many in english. how do i adjust this, how can i change this?
You usually set the metadata language on the library level (Manage Library > Edit… → General > Language).
You can override that library preference for individual movies or shows (
> Advanced > Metadata Language)
Heey thanks, i changed it in the library under general. but when i click on refresh all meta data in the library nothing changes to dutch
You could verify if those movies / shows have a Durch translation on IMDb / TMDb.
Edit: it’s maybe also worth checking if the videos are properly matched and not using embedded metadata.

Could be the refresh on the library was still running. Refreshing the metadata of an entire library can take some time.
yes but you see that plex is not doing anything. because at the top of the page on the left next to settings you can see what it is doing and it is not doing anything. nothing has changed yet
I did it on my phone but it didn’t do it there. I did it on the computer now, after clicking on refresh all meta data a message came up that it even takes a while and fields with a lock are not adjusted. Then I had to strengthen it and now it is reloading everything.
