I’m trying to have Plex enter the metadata for my native language (Swedish), but it just keeps getting everything in English.
I’ve changed the language to Swedish in Server–>Agents, but it seems that language only affects release date and content rating. How can I get the movie info/summary to be in my native language as default?

The server wide agent settings only apply to legacy agents. All current-generation Plex agents are configured per library… this includes the default metadata language.
Check out Manage Library > Edit… from the library‘s context menu. All the common configuration is in the Advanced tab; metadata language prefs should be on the General tab.
Side note: you can override the language for individual movies or shows (
> Advanced).
Thanks, this solved the issue! I just had to “update all metadata” afterwards and it all worked out fine!
