how do I change my server from drive E to drive F?
The installation of PMS? or the location of the metadata that plex stores? or the location of your media(the movies you legally ripped/downloaded)?
I don’t know the answer to the question :{. When I log on to plex it goes to E drive to load all my media. My E drive is full, and, I can’t add any more files. I purchased an external 4TB hard drive, and, moved all media files from E drive to the new F drive. How do I change my plex to access the new external F drive , rather than, the E drive on my laptop? I am very new to all of this, and, hope I answered your question with enough information? THANK YOU so much for helping me with this issue.
You made an edit. Do you still need help? Did you follow @flow link. This is what you need from the look of your second post. You can(could of at this point) keep/kept all your “old” media on E drive and simply add “new” media to F drive. Simply add(flows link) additional folders into the path of your libraries.
