Hi,

I’m ripping my Blu-ray and I edited default chapters. The default chapter name is “Chapter 01”, “Chapter 02”, … but I added the data language “en-US”. For each chapter I also added a new name “Chaptire 01” with the language “fr-FR” so for each chapter I got one name in english and one name is french which is its translation.

When I check the Mediainfo I can see every chapter got a “en” version and “fr” version.

When I try to explore chapter on my plex player it display only the “fr” version and no the “en” version. I can’t swap between language and to be more strange my account settings / OS etc everything is in English but I guess Plex select last chapter name available.

Do you have any idea how chapter are working on MKV and Plex ?

Plex does not actually support multi-language chapters. From what I’ve experienced, if there’s multiple different names per chapter, Plex will use the last one (independent of what language that is).
