Chromecast with Google TV (4k) not passing through DTS 5.1

In the Google TV I have DTS selected as a passthrough audio format. In the plex app I have Direct Play selected.

The Plex server says it is direct playing the DTS 5.1 track but my Denon receiver is only showing multi-channel PCM. If I play the exact same file with Jellyfin on the Google TV the receiver gets a DTS track. If I use the Roku built into the TV with the plex app I also get a DTS track to the receiver.

Is there some other setting in the Google TV plex app I need to change to get DTS 5.1 working?

I just read that with the Android 12 update they added DTS passthrough support. Is this something that Plex has to add to the android app to allow for the CCwGTV? I am still getting PCM when I try to play a DTS track.

I have also hooked the CCwGTV directly to my Denon 3700h so I no longer have the Roku TV in the loop and still see the DTS passthrough issue.
