Hi guys. I’ve recorded some 1080p (11 Mbps), 720p (11 Mbps) and 480p (4 Mbps) over the air live TV using the HD homerun Flex 4k and Plex DVR running on a Synology NAS. When I try to play the 1080p or 720p content on the Google Chromecast, Plex (on the Chromecast) stutters and then restarts. I am able to play the lower resolution 480p content with more success, but if I press buttons too quickly on the Chromecast remote or generally do anything more than let the media stream without any interaction, this also causes Plex on the chromecast to restart. If I use the tv guide in the plex app and navigate too quickly, especially if live TV is playing while I navigate. the Plex app also restarts. This is unfortunate since recording live TV on the Plex server and playing it back on the Chromecast is my main use case for Plex - and it is practically unusable. I don’t have any issue playing these recordings on any other device in my home network (PC, phone etc). I’ve tried rebooting the chromecast and ununstalling/re-installing plex on the chromecast with no luck. Any ideas on what I can do to solve the problem?

I also have been having issues with the Plex app on Google TV. The app constantly crashes and it seems to have started when they update the OS on Google TV. Does anyone have suggestions on how to fix this?
